Partners and Supporters

Support for the Association of Africans Living in Vermont comes from the following organizations:

United Way

Office of Refugee Resettlement

Agency of Human Services – State of Vermont

United States Department of Agriculture

Growald Community Foundation

The Powell Foundation

The Annie E. Casey Foundation

The Association is currently funded by the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (Health and Human Services Department), the Vermont Agency of Human Services Refugee Office, the United Way of Chittenden County, and by other small grants and donations.

These grants are tied to very specific activities, which sometimes do not cover basic operating and upkeep expenses. Many of these expenses must be paid with many, small individual donations from people like you.
